Our basic backdrops are laser printed. Our large sized graphic sheets use a pigment dye, which has a 200 year life expectancy.
Not hard at all. If you look at the bottom of each page that lists backgrounds for sale, you will find a "Assembly Guide" and "How To's" tip section
No, it is recommended only because it is easy to work with. You can use almost any type of stiff board or wood, as long as it has a smooth surface and you are able to use an adhesive on it.
Usually these type of errors happen when you just jump right in and start cutting and putting it together with out a plan or thought. We ask and suggest that you practice cutting on scraps of paper or index cards. It is best to use a ruler and an Xacto knife for cutting. Please see our tip guides at the bottom of each page where the backdrops are listed. There still is always a chance that you can slip up, so while we don't sell replacement sheets, if you contact us, we will verify your purchase, and replace the backdrop at a minimal charge plus shipping.
If it is the height from the ground to the platform, that is intentionally done. People use different track and roadbed sizes, in this case you would just trim off the excess from the bottom. The top part is exaggerated because people veiw your layout from a distance. The slight enlargment makes makes it show up better with all the details, and gives the appearance as if the train is acutually in a station. If this is not acceptable to you, let us know the size height you need from the platform to the top of the station, and we will change it for you at NO ADDITIONAL COST.
No we do not offer any discounts at this time. We do however have value packs that are discounted kits that include stations and tunnel sections together. In the kit you can choose any of the stations that are listed on our website. This kit however, does not offer any alterations to the stations or tunnels. If you need anything changed.
We ask that you give us 10 days to ship it to you, from the day you actually placed the order. Depending on the season you may recieve it in less than 10 days. (When ordering, we do give a clear estimate of delivery, and keep you notified or our progress.)
No you do not need a PayPal Account or Card. When you get to the checkout screen, simply choose your method of payment, or if you do have PayPal account, you may just use that. The Sea Beach Line does not have tunnels, it uses a method call "Open and Cut". They dig out a trench, laydown the track, and re-enforce the walls, so there is no cover.....hence "Open and Cut". Our walls are made the same way. There are many electrical lines, water pipes, among others that run along the stretch of the line, and we have made all of these lines meet together and flow smoothly through the station and back out along the walls.
